The 2010 North American Midi Ghetto Tour kicks off on April 30th and runs through June 4th with a special stop to made on Thursday May 13th in Montreal for Kinetik Festival – Theatre UsineC – All Ages – with Leather Strip, Vomito Negro, Imperative Reaction, The Gothsicles, Caustic and more!

For an added dose of awesome, Sean Payne of Cyanotic will be playing live synths for 16Volt on select dates beginning May 6th. Then the Cyanotic crew will be joining Sean for two shows in Cleveland, OH and Pittsburgh, PA. on May 16th & 17th.

Despite repeated entreaties to stop, a rather broadly-written restraining order, and a series of crudely drawn cartoons in which members of 16volt defecate directly in to the agape body of EGC refrigerator mascot Edgar G. Chillingston, the Everything Goes Cold remix of "Alkali" is set to appear on the classic Coldwave outfit’s new disc, "American Porn Songs Remixed". Joined by numerous other remixers both talented and popular (including Cyanotic, Left Spine Down, Unter Null, Caustic, SMP, and Tim Skold) EGC stands out like a sore thumb on this disc.

The disc will be released on May 11, right after you’re released from the county jail in the wake of the cheese-bread incident. It’ll give you something to listen to while bemoaning the fact that you’re no longer allowed within 500 feet of a Dominos, while they’ve got that new recipe promotion going on and everything.

Cyanotic has just returned from a successful headlining Canadian trek and are currently preparing for a round of special engagements on the West Coast in support of legendary machine rockers, 16volt. The Precursor Tour, 5 dates total, will kick off on July 6th and runs through July 11th. Full dates after the cut!

And in case returning to the West Coast with 16volt wasn’t exciting enough, Cyanotic has decided to take the tour to a whole new level by teaming up with Rabbit Junk as a single entity to give fans a full bore audio/visual sensory assault they wont soon forget.

Sean and JP have been talking about touring together for about 4 years and are looking very forward to finally getting a chance to tear up the stage together.

Sean Payne of Cyanotic further comments: “We’ve been fans of each other”s music for years and after getting to play a few shows together [namely @ the 2k7 Detroit Electronic Music Festival], it became clear to us that it was in all our best intentions to join up for a tour. So when one of our big influences [16volt] asked Cyanotic to come out on the road again [after sharing a lot of good times together playing on last year's Denial Highway tour], we decided this was the time to finally join up with Rabbit Junk, play each other’s songs and spend a couple weeks partying together on the west coast.”

Cyanotic has just announced that they will be jumping on the 16VOLT Precursor Tour in July.

Cyanotic is touring in support of their upcoming album “The Medication Generation” and will be debuting new tracks from it.

If that’s not awesome enough for you, Cyanotic will also be joined by JP Anderson of Rabbit Junk and offering exclusive Cyanotic vs. Rabbit Junk “Tour Only” merch on these dates. 16volt’s lineup with consist of Eric Powell on vocals and guitar, Mike Peoples (Skrew/Daniel Ash Band) on Bass, Steve White (KMFDM/Pig) on guitar, Jason Bazinet (SMP/Chemlab) on drums, and Scott Robison (Drøne/The New Slaves) on keyboards.
