Left Spine Down

The band self released their first album entitled the SMARTBOMB EP in June 2007, and it was met with a very frenzied reception from fans worldwide. The EP was produced by FRONT LINE ASSEMBLY/NOISE UNIT’s CHRIS PETERSON and is currently for sale on the bands Myspace page and is also available on iTunes and Amazon.

Their full length release FIGHTING FOR VOLTAGE saw the band combining efforts with mastering giant SHAUN THINGVOLD (SKINNY PUPPY/STRAPPING YOUNG LAD/LAMB OF GOD/K-OS) and again with CHRIS PETERSON. The album was released on April 22, 2008 by Vancouver label SYNTHETIC SOUNDS and distributed nationwide by Indie Pool.

The band has been very active in the Vancouver live music scene over the last few years sharing the stage with The Birthday Massacre, Combichrist, DOA, Genitorturers, SNFU, and Chemlab to name a few. Recently they have expanded their audience with several Canadian dates including a spring tour in support of the full-length release, which will take them to Montreal and back. They have also been asked to perform at this years’ New Music West festival in Vancouver.
